I’m sure by now you’ve heard all about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but in case you haven’t, I wanted to fill you in with all the details! Right now, from July 12th – July 19th, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is open to cardholders. For those who do not have a card, you’ll have access starting on July 20th until August 5th. If you don’t want to wait until July 20th to get the deals, you can sign up for a Nordstrom card here.

Here’s the thing: Yes, I have a card, but I never, ever use it. I’m not one to recommend opening a credit card just for the sake of opening a credit card, but if you’re really into getting those deals and getting them early, perhaps you’ll find it worth it to get the card. Fun fact: I used to work at a place that was a two minute drive from a mall with what I would consider the best Nordstrom in Massachusetts and it was insanely dangerous haha. I got convinced to open a credit card one day after a particularly stressful day at work *insert crying laughing emoji*. Here’s the thing with credit cards – one is great, but once you have more than one, that’s where in my eyes, you can get yourself in a bit of trouble. So always try to shop responsibly 🙂 .

So about the Nordstrom Anniversary sale! This is one of the only “big sales” that I actually find worth it because it’s new fall items on sale rather than items from last season, which I find is what most sales are. I usually pick up a few fall staples during this time that will help to kick off my fall wardrobe.

So what’s really worth it? I find the following items worth it for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: coats, denim, sneakers, boots, sweaters, and beauty products. I particularly find coats, jackets, and boots the most worth it because here in New England, those are items I will wear for basically 3/4 of the year. But, if you live in a more warm weather climate, perhaps a great pair of sandals is more worth it to you!
