I hope you guys had a great weekend!! Last weekend Geoff and I went to a place I had been wanting to go for a long time, Niche Urban Garden Supply in Cambridge (you might have seen a couple of photos on my Instagram). They also have a location in the South End and it’s basically the cutest plant shop you’ve ever laid eyes on. If you live in Boston or if you’r visiting Boston, Niche Urban Garden Supply is a must!
The weather has been feeling so especially horrible this spring (feels more like a long, long winter) that getting a little bit of greenery in my life has felt 100% necessary. I’ve been wanting to incorporate plants into my apartment decor for a while now, and Niche has seriously the most attractive plants and pots that it makes it easy to shop. Your only problem will be on deciding what plants you want because they’re all so pretty!
NICHE URBAN GARDEN SUPPLY: WHERE TO BUY PLANTS IN BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS
Even if you don’t plan on buying anything, this is the kind of place that’s fun to window shop and just browse everything because it’s so aesthetically pleasing! I love the idea of giving a plant to a friend or loved one if you’re in need of a gift. There’s something gifting a a live plant that feels extra thoughtful to me. And who doesn’t love plants?!
What’s extra amazing about Niche Urban Garden Supply is that the people who work there are so so good about guiding you with which plant to buy. For example, if your apartment or home gets little to no natural light, they can guide you and recommend plants that do well with little to no light. Another great thing is that when you’re checking out, they go over how to care for each plant that you purchase. They told us how many times to water/week, which plants need more daylight, which don’t, etc.
If you live in Boston you must stop by this spot (and take a couple pics for the ‘gram!) If you don’t live in Boston, make sure Niche is on your list for the next time you visit!! xoxo have a great week, guys!
