I hope you guys had a wonderful Labor Day weekend! It was pretty low key over here. I stayed in Boston this weekend which was so nice after three weekends in a row being jam packed. Sunday was freezing and raining in Boston, but then Monday was so gorgeous I dreamed of it being like that here year round. We had lunch outside at Tatte (a local favorite… you must go if you’re in Boston) and walked the Charles River Reservation parkway. If you’re looking to get outside, it’s a great walk to do (also makes a great running loop). It was hard to not get sentimental about the last weekend of summer, but I keep trying to remind myself that just because the last weekend of summer is over, doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy the nice days that are sure to come. One of my favorite bloggers, Liz from Pure Joy Home had the best talk about this on her Instagram Stories and it was exactly what I needed. So remember – just because summer’s over doesn’t mean you can’t find the good in the little things and make the warm days special. Now let’s get excited for fall 😉 .

Labor Day is supposed to mark the end of being able to wear white until Memorial Day, but I plan on still wearing white all year. Anyone else?! While I definitely find myself wearing more black and dark neutrals during fall and winter, there are still ways to make white work in your wardrobe all year round. I usually opt to not wear white shoes and bags, but white jeans, shirts, sweaters, coats, and jackets are all still a go in my book. If you live somewhere that stays warm all year round (lucky you) then you can get away with wearing white even more than us here in New England. So why should you continue to wear white all year round? When you think about it, doesn’t it sound a little ridiculous that you have to put one color of clothing aside almost all year? Sort of crazy when you think about it! I have so many white pieces I love that I refuse to part with just yet. Also, winter whites have been a trend the past few seasons and seems to be going strong this fall/winter. I love the look of an all-white outfit. It’s so classic looking in my opinion. I hope you guys have a great week. I’m heading to the Patriots game Thursday night for their home opener (WOO WOO) and I’m so excited!
