Everyone… and I mean everyone has been talking about the Starbucks Brown Sugar Oat Milk Iced Latte. 👏🏻 As much as I love Starbucks, the $ definitely adds up. We’re saving for our wedding, honeymoon, a house, and alllll the things, so $5 or $6 really adds up over time. I love making coffee at home with my Nespresso machine (read more about it here). If you don’t have one, it is an investment, but one that’s worth it! Fellow brides, definitely add one to your registry if you don’t own one.
I think I’ve just about perfected the Starbucks Brown Sugar Oat Milk Iced Latte. Keep reading for my recipe (and make sure to check out my Instagram Reel here!).
Brown Sugar Syrup
1 cup water
1 cup brown sugar
Mix 1 cup of water and 1 cup of brown sugar over medium heat. You’ll know it’s done when the sugar has completely dissolved. Add to an air tight container. It will keep in the fridge for about one month. Note: If you’d like a smaller or larger batch of syrup, that’s great too! Just make sure you follow a 1:1 ratio (e.g. 2 cups water, 2 cups brown sugar, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup brown sugar).
Brown Sugar Oat Milk Iced Latte
1-2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar Syrup (see above)
1-2 Nespresso pods, brewed
Oat Milk Creamer, to taste
Ice
Add 1 or 2 Tablespoons of brown sugar syrup to your glass. Brew 1 or 2 Nespresso pods and add to your glass. Add your favorite oat milk creamer. I love Califia Farms Oat Milk Creamer. Add ice, stir and enjoy!
