Wedding Items I Purchased From Etsy & Amazon

One thing that really surprised me about wedding planning was how much time it took to find all of our ✨ little details.✨ You know the ones – the perfect candles, your guestbook, a getting ready robe, etc. Maybe it was just me because I’m picky, but I swear I spent 6+ hours a day on Etsy for months looking for the perfect items. Since I spent sooooo much time looking for items, I wanted to make your life a little easier if you’re planning a wedding and share the wedding items I purchased from Etsy & Amazon. ☺️

Wedding Items I Purchased From Etsy & Amazon

Our wedding style was definitely classic and modern and we kept that in mind when choosing items for our wedding on Etsy & Amazon. A LOT of wedding items on Etsy & Amazon lean towards “farmhouse” or “rustic” which made the process of going through items very time consuming. A lot of the time Pinterest wasn’t helpful for finding specific items. It was great for finding inspiration, but not necessarily the link where you could buy the actual item.

For Etsy, once I found an item I liked, I then went to the sellers’ page to see if they had other items I liked as well. I did a lot of searching using the words “modern” and “minimalist” to find items in our style. Eventually, the algorithm catches on and recommends products at the bottom of a page that could be your style.

Absolutely all of the wedding items I purchased from Etsy & Amazon are below! I hope this makes your life a little easier and you find something you love for your upcoming wedding! 💗

Items from Etsy

Guestbook

I was obsessed with our guestbook – still am! We liked the look of the guestbooks on Artifact Uprising, but couldn’t justify the price. We went with this guestbook from LunaPaperCompany on Etsy and chose the 10×8/100 White book with a Gray Cover and Gold Foil Writing. I wanted something classic and beautiful enough that it could be kept on a bookshelf or a coffee table. I also wanted something that our loved ones and future children could look through some day and admire. I still love it so much!

I packed it in my carry on for our honeymoon so that we could read it while on our honeymoon and I highly recommend doing that. Just don’t pack it in your suitcase!

Card Box

I could never really find the card box that I had in my mind (we wanted something with modern font), so we bought this one from Etsy with no decal – basically just a plain white acrylic box. I liked this card box because it came with a key to lock it. I feel like you can never be too careful when it comes to all of your wedding cards, so we liked this feature.

My mom used her Silhouette machine to add the “M | G” decal to our card box. I love how it turned out! We paid a lot for just a plain white acrylic box – if I could do it over and had more time, I would probably go hunting at craft stores or try making one, but alas, when you’re wedding planning you run out of time to do everything!

Veil

I bought this veil from Etsy in the shade “Light Ivory” and the “Cathedral” length. Sadly, it fell off while I was walking down the aisle because the material caught on the rock walkway I walked down, but it seemed high quality and I was happy with it when I got it in the mail!

Place Cards Template

We used these place cards for a large display to showcase to our friends and family where they would be sitting at our wedding reception. It’s important to note that this Etsy purchase is purely a template. It was a bit time consuming because you have to manually type out each place card, but it’s also nice to have flexibility up until the date of your wedding in case anyone is still unsure if they’ll be coming or not. We printed them at Staples and it worked out well!

Ring Boxes

I bought this “White/Double” ring box for my rings and the “White/Single” ring box for Geoff’s wedding ring. This was part of our “details” that our wedding photographer shot while we were getting ready for our wedding. I’m not sure that we will actually use them too much in the future, but if it’s important for you to have details like these in your photographs, then I highly recommend these! I opted to not get initials on these because I liked the plain blank canvas look better.

Table Numbers

Table number signage is one of the things that took me sooooo long to search for. Again, I wanted modern looking font and had an idea of what I was looking for, but it took me a long time to find it. If you have a similar style to us, then you’re in luck that I found these for you!

What’s nice about these table numbers are that they come printed; they’re not a template. We opted for the 5×7″ size in Pure White 1-25 qty. Unfortunately, the paper wasn’t really thick enough so these ended up curling from moisture in the air at the wedding. If I were to order again, I would order on a thicker, higher quality paper.

Bridesmaid/Parent Bags

I needed bags for the gifts for my bridesmaids, but I didn’t want to do a traditional bag that said “bridesmaid” or their name on the side. I wanted something a little bit different and something they could potentially use again. I ended up deciding on these canvas bags from Etsy. I absolutely adore the lobster detail since we had a coastal Maine wedding!

We also bought two extras for our parents and put a bunch of snacks and goodies in them for them to have in their hotel rooms over that weekend. They’ll make a great beach tote or grocery bag for them to use long after the wedding!

Wax Seals

I bought these wax seals (now sold out, but identical ones are here) in the color “Soft White” which say “Let’s Party” on them. We used these to hold the place cards on a large board for our guests to see where they’d be sitting.  We thought they were really cute, but unfortunately, when they were arranged on the table # display board, they ended up looking like condoms LOL. 😂 Apparently our wedding guests were sharing lots of laughs over it! If I could do it over, I would have ordered a different color since they were pretty expensive.

Wedding Day Timeline Template

I realized the week of our wedding that we really needed a schedule that we could share with our bridal party and parents so everyone knew where to be and at what time. This wedding day timeline template worked really well! I edited the template slightly so that I could add the full weekend’s festivities.

Menu Templates

We bought this menu template (unfortunately now sold out, but similar here from the same Etsy maker) so that we could place a menu at each wedding guest’s seat. Super happy with these. We printed at Staples!

Address Stamp

This address stamp came in handy for the return address on our save the dates! It definitely helped us save money so that we didn’t have to get the return address printed. We did opt to have the return address printed directly on the envelopes for our more formal wedding invitations, though.

Stamps

I had a lot of fun looking for vintage stamps for our wedding details and purchased these, these, and these! They all tied into our Maine wedding theme which was fun. They’re way too expensive to do for 200+ wedding invitations, so instead, I had our photographer take photos of them for our details photos.

Items from Amazon

You can find everything I purchased for the wedding on my Amazon storefront page here. I’ve also listed everything below!

Straws

We used these for our signature drink – an “Aperol Fritz!” (my new last name lol!) The caterers cut them in half to fit our wine glasses.

Eye Gels

I bought these eye gels for my rehearsal dinner and the morning of my wedding day! I also gifted them to my bridesmaids. You have so much adrenaline the week of your wedding and aren’t really getting as much sleep as you need to be, so these really help to reduce puffiness around the eyes. I also like placing these underneath my eye area when doing eye makeup! Then, any excess eye shadow goes on the eye patch and not on your face.

University of Maine Flag + Penn State Flag

Okay, maybe crazy, but I came across a photo of a college flag on Pinterest or Style Me Pretty, or one of those wedding sites and I thought it was such a cute idea for group photos at a wedding! Geoff went to Penn State and I went to the University of Maine, so all of our friends took photos on the dance floor with the flags. Pro tip: Steam them ahead of time! I forgot and there were lines on the flags in the photos that didn’t look the best lol.

Acrylic Tape Dispenser

I wanted a minimalist tape dispenser for our guest book and loved this one that I found on Amazon! We had guests take photos on Polaroids and then taped them into our guestbook!

Gold Hangers

I bought these hangers for my bridesmaids, my wedding dress, and my mom’s dress. Just don’t lose your own hanger like I did lol! Still have no idea where it ended up!

Instax Camera

I bought this Instax Camera so that our wedding guests could take photos and put them in our guestbook. This was a huge hit with everyone! I highly recommend. I already owned another Instax camera, so one extra was nice to have so the guestbook line didn’t get too long!

Fujifilm Instax Camera Film

Extra film for the Instax Camera was a must. I wish I would have ordered more since we ran out of film, so definitely order more than you think you’ll need!

White Gift Bags

I used these white gift bags for our wedding welcome bags. Affordable and got the job done!

Advil Packets

I bought these Advil packets for our wedding welcome bags!

Fruit Snacks

I bought these fruit snacks for our wedding welcome bags.

Goldfish Snack Size Packs

I bought a couple of boxes of these Goldfish Snack Packs for our wedding welcome bags as well.

GLO Brilliant Teeth Whitening Kit

I bought this GLO Brilliant Teeth Whitening Kit to use in the couple weeks leading up to my wedding and was very happy with it. I definitely saw results! It’s a great option if you don’t have time (or the money) to get your teeth professionally whitened for your wedding.

Colgate Optic White Pens

I also bought this Colgate Optic White Teeth Whitening Pen but didn’t end up using it since I was happy with the GLO Brilliant Kit (see above!).

Boom Chicka Pop Popcorn

I bought a couple boxes of this popcorn for our wedding welcome bags.

Pearl Hoop Earrings

I bought these pearl hoop earrings for my rehearsal dinner and absolutely love them. I received lots of compliments and people couldn’t believe they were from Amazon! Very light and comfortable as well.
