The Best Parka For Staying Warm in the Winter

Today I’m sharing the best parka and my favorite winter coat for when it’s really cold! Boston had its first real snow fall this weekend so having this parka in my closet is a must. This parka is also on crazy sale right now (50% off plus an extra 15% off, so if you’re thinking about buying, now is the time!).

I hope you guys had a great weekend! I have the day off today for Martin Luther King Day which I haven’t normally had off in the past, so it’s been a very welcomed extra day of relaxation. I was up late watching the Patriots make their way to another Super Bowl (WOOO!) so this extra day is so needed right now.

Boston got its first real snow fall on Saturday night going into Sunday, then we got freezing rain and all of the mess that comes with that. Today is something like 7 degrees. EEK! Trying to avoid going outside if at all humanly possible. Anyways, last year I received this parka/winter coat from Geoff for my birthday and it’s my obsession. It’s been on sale a lot recently and is so so warm. I couldn’t live without it this time of year. In fact, right now is the best sale on it that I’ve seen since receiving it. It’s currently on sale here for 50% off plus an extra 15% off with the code TWODAY. Worth it!

When you live in Boston, part of being a Bostonian is that you walk a lot. For my daily commute, I have to wait outside for my train to come to get to work in the morning and then once I get off the train, I have to walk 1/4 mile or so to work. When I come home from work, I walk even further to get to my apartment because of the train I take home. Having a warm coat is something that’s an essential. This one kept me warm all last winter and is great quality. It’s been continuing to keep me warm on even the coldest days. Sizing Info

I would recommend sizing up in this coat one size from wherever you fall on the size chart. For example, I’m a size 6 and fell at a small, but I sized up to the medium and it fits perfectly. You’re always going to want a winter coat that can handle layering and gives you room to wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath for those extra cold days.

Colors

This coat comes in a lot of different colors. I have the olive color (see it worn here, here, and here too), but I also really love the black and the wine color.

On Sale!

As I wrote above, this coat is on major sale. It’s currently on sale for 50% off, plus an extra 15% off with the code TWODAY. Make sure to scoop it up so you can stay warm all winter long. If you have additional sizing info/questions, feel free to reach out on Instagram or leave a comment below!
