Are you guys in the midst of your Christmas shopping? I told myself that I would get an early start this year – which I did for a couple people, but here I am a couple weeks before Christmas (crazy to even say that!) trying to get the bulk of my shopping done.
I think men have a reputation for being hard to shop for, but when you think about it, they’re actually pretty easy. Get him something practical, something maybe a bit more luxurious than he would normally buy himself, etc. First things first, always buy experiences whenever you can. That is always my go-to gift for someone really special – or anyone. To me, experiences are remembered long after a “thing” has worn off it’s sparkly new-ness. That being said, it’s not always possible, or, you might want something to go along with it.
Meet my Holiday Gift Guide For Him. This Christmas Gift Guide For Him shares a mix of items that Geoff either already owns or are on his Christmas wish list this year. You really can’t go wrong with anything below! Keep reading to find out about each item. I hope you find something for him that you love. As always, if you’re looking for something in particular but can’t find it, feel free to reach out on Instagram or by email and I will do my best to help! Happy holidays, friends. xo
Holiday Gift Guide for Him: Everything He Really Wants for Christmas!
- S’well Water Bottle
Everyone needs a good water bottle. If you don’t have a S’well yet, you need to join the club immediately. In my opinion, the 17 oz. size that they come in is the perfect size. Plus, it literally keeps your water cold all day long. I have a couple of these and try to remember to keep one at the office all week (then bring it home to wash it on the weekend) so that I’ll drink more water. I love how stylish the plain stainless steel S’well is. Geoff has this one (although recently forgot it in a friend’s car). It’s a must and is a great unisex gift- especially something for Secret Santa if you feel you don’t know the person very well. - All Black Chucks
Geoff and I went to the mall a couple weeks ago and came across these in Nordstrom. They’re now at the top of his wish list. I have to say I love them too (just not for me, ha!). If you have a sneaker head in your life, get them these. They’re also currently on sale! - Bang & Olufsen B&O Play A1
If you guys follow along on Instagram, then you might have seen me talk about this speaker around Black Friday. My dad gifted each of my family members this speaker a couple years ago for Christmas and it’s something I have loved (and have gotten so much use out of) since receiving. This bad boy packs a lot of punch for being such a small speaker. The sound quality is pretty incredible. We bring this on every vacation we go on and whenever we’re traveling and might want music for the hotel room. We also bring it to the beach and use it on our balcony in the summer months when want to listen to music. It’s amazing and the battery also stays charged for hours which is a win in my book! For my Boston peeps, if you’d rather hear it in person before buying, there’s a Bang & Olufsen shop right on Newbury Street. Can’t say enough amazing things about this speaker. - L.L. Bean Slippers
I’m not just saying this because I’m a Mainer (L.L. Bean is Maine owned)! These are the best slippers ever. If your man, dad, brother, friend, etc. doesn’t have a pair of L.L. Bean slippers, you must get these for him. They run true to size and are the highest quality slippers out there. They last forever and also have a lifetime warranty. I also have a pair and I wear them every day. These are currently 25% off today and through 12/11 with the code GIFT25. - A Great Shirt!
One of my boyfriend’s favorite places to shop is Bonobos. They make really high quality, stylish pieces that are classics. You can’t go wrong with a shirt from there! - Joggers
Every guy wants to be comfortable so these are at the top of most men’s wish lists. Treat him with a luxurious pair that he’ll want to wear 24/7 (and that maybe you can borrow if you’re lucky! 😉 ). - A Stylish but Sporty Jacket
This jacket is on Geoff’s list this year. Perfect for putting on before/after running to the gym, for a run, etc. - Sonos Speakers
We have these speakers in our apartment and they’re truly a game changer. They easily connect to your phone via Bluetooth and are really high quality for the price. I love putting on a playlist when I’m making dinner. Also, if you already have one, I recommend getting a second and pairing them together. Major game changer! - Malin & Goetz Products
If your man (or brother, dad, uncle, grandfather, you name it) is anything like the men in my life, then personal care products are not something that are on their radar. That being said, it’s important to take care of our skin and maybe he just needs a little bit of nudging! While I do think that skincare products are super personal (and therefore I usually don’t feel like they’re the best gift to give), if he’s using nothing, then this is a great starting point! Geoff has become obsessed with Malin & Goetz products throughout the years after staying at a hotel in Austin frequently (he stays at this spot in Austin quite a bit when he’s traveling for work). My fav, 250 Main Hotel also has Malin & Goetz products so they have become a favorite of mine throughout the years as well. - Allbirds Sneakers
Geoff has these and loves them. You don’t even have to wear socks with them. I was a disbeliever, but he says they are truly the most comfortable sneakers ever. This pair isn’t necessarily for working out in, but they’re a really great comfortable and stylish pair for everyday wear! - Apple Airpods
I’m willing to bet that these are at the top of most men’s wish lists this year. I see tons of people wearing these during my commute every day and got Geoff a pair for his birthday this year. He absolutely loves them. I’m now wanting a pair for myself. A bit of a splurge but think about the fact that you’re gifting them the fact that they’ll never have to detangle a pair of headphones ever again. Worth it if you ask me! - Clark’s Chelsea Boots
What’s hilarious about these boots is that I had picked out a virtually identical pair for Geoff that I was going to get him for Christmas. Then we went to the mall a couple weeks ago and he picked them out for himself. LOL. If you have not shopped at Clark’s before, both my brother and Geoff love their shoes. If you get these for someone on your list, make sure to size up a 1/2 size from their normal size. - Herschel Toiletry Bag
Back to the personal care products problem. If your man is anything like my man, when he travels, he stuffs things in Ziploc bags. Do him a favor and get him a toiletry bag for all of his business (and leisure) travels. Bonus points if you stuff it with his favorite products (or introduce him to some of your favorite products that are unisex).
