Can you guys believe we are already in the midst of the holiday season?! It feels like it was just July and then I blinked and here we are. Crazy times. As much as I love summertime and the warm weather, I do look forward to the holiday season. It always makes me want to become a better person and do nice things for people. Anyone else?! If you haven’t planned an “act of kindness,” I encourage you to start to think about doing so. It really does make you feel so good about making someone else happy. Also, let me know if you guys would be interested in a post of ideas for how you can give back during the holiday season!
One thing I think a lot of people struggle with is how to freaking dress yourself during the holiday season. So many of us have holiday parties, events, work outings, weddings, and more. You want to look dressy, but not too dressy. Put together, but not like you’re trying too hard. Plus, it’s a busy time of year! Winter in New England often makes it challenging to dress for those dressier occasions. I love a chance to wear a dress, but I don’t love freezing legs (and I hate tights). Solution?! The black jumpsuit.
I LOVE me a good black jumpsuit. They are so classic and will work for all of your holiday events or work events this fall and winter. I go to quite a few blogging/influencer events this time of year and always struggle with what to wear. A lot of times, I’m not told how formal an event will be and am left trying to figure out what to wear. When you’re unsure of a dress code, I always feel it’s better to go more dressy rather than too casual. I often reach for a black jumpsuit! Believe it or not, I found this jumpsuit I’m wearing above on sale for $10 at Zara a couple years ago (see original post here). Best purchase ever. The Best Black Jumpsuits for Fall and Winter
Are you guys loving black jumpsuits? I can’t get enough of them, and I also think that a black jumpsuit is a lot more versatile than people give it credit for! Depending on the sleeves, you could wear a sweater over it for a completely different look, wear a blazer over it, dress it down with white sneakers, and switch it up with accessories. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite black jumpsuits below. Hope you find one you love!
