I hope you guys had a great week! BIG NEWS: I feel like I can finally give you a life update/job update because I finally officially signed a job offer. While I don’t feel comfortable sharing the name of where I’ll be working for privacy reasons (you can email me if you’re super curious), you’re looking at the new Influencer Marketing Coordinator! I honestly feel like this will be the perfect job for me, and I’m so excited (but nervous). As many of you know, I’ve always been a teacher, so working in an office will be a huge change, but a change I feel like I’m prepared for and ready to embrace.

Through creating this blog I’ve realized strengths I never knew I had and interests/passions I never knew I had. Looking back on it is kind of funny (and frustrating) because I actually started college as a Marketing major and took about two years of the classes. I never thought I would be working in anything other than teaching, have a blog, or be living in Boston if you would have asked me five years ago. I think it just goes to show that while things are never perfect, life can surprise you and take you in directions you never thought you would go. I’m feeling so happy and excited about this change. Thank you to those of you who shared your stories with me about feeling the same way with your own life, those of you who offered encouragement, and to those of you who just listened to me rant. I appreciate you all immensely.

I wore this camel chunky knit sweater and the rest of this look over the weekend to brunch at Little Donkey in Cambridge for Geoff’s Birthday. I’ve been to Little Donkey for dinner, but never for brunch. So, so good! They are technically a tapas restaurant, but it doesn’t have a tapas vibe at all. They have a ton of classic menu options but with unusual twists. Their pickle-brined fried chicken sandwich has my entire heart. Also, there was Captain Crunch on the menu. Can you say throwback?! I didn’t order it, but I was so tempted to. You guys have to go.

I recently teamed up with Shop Red Dress to put together a few fall looks, and this camel chunky knit sweater was very high on my wish list. It’s the perfect amount of oversized and is so warm! I hadn’t been needing warm clothes lately, but the weather is now consistently cooler, especially at night. I love items that I can just throw on and go, and this knit sweater is definitely one of them. I’m wearing the S/M which is oversized and so cozy. When I buy a sweater it has to pass the biggest test of all – is it itchy? If it’s even the slightest bit itchy I won’t buy it because my skin is so sensitive, and it will just sit in my closet. This one isn’t itchy at all, so it definitely passed my test.

Shop Red Dress is definitely one of my favorite boutiques that I’ve come across as of lately (love discovering new online shops). In my experience, the tops run on the large side so you may want to size down. For me, I’m almost always in between a size small and a size medium (depending on the brand). I opted for size smalls in the tops, and I’m so glad I did. The jeans run true to size.

I would love to know what you guys would like to see more of on the blog so that I can be sure I’m doing the kind of posts you’re interested in. Some of the options are style, skincare, makeup, makeup tutorials, hair tutorials, hair products, travel, around Boston, and/or personal posts. Comment below and let me know what you would like to see more of on the blog or you can email me at contact@brunchonsunday.com.
