Fall is sort of in the air in Boston… Some days have been in the 60s, while other days have been in the 80s. As much as I love the warm weather, I think I can finally say that I’m ready for fall and everything that comes along with it; hot apple cider, boots, apple cider donuts (duh haha), warm blankets, apple picking, and hiking. I swear there’s some kind of magic in the air in New England in the fall. While other cities tend to die down for the winter, there’s something about Boston and New England in the fall that just makes it come alive. Am I reading too far into it lol? It’s hard to explain unless you’re from New England or have visited New England in the fall. It’s seriously the best time of year here. Crisp mornings with the cool breeze coming through your window, and sunshine during the day; I swear there’s nothing better.
I recently received this cold shoulder top from The Mint Julep Boutique, and I must say, I think it’s the absolute perfect top to put together a transitional fall outfit. The color is almost in between a brick red and camel color. I love the high neck, and the cold shoulder cut outs make it perfect to show just a bit of skin. Depending on where you work, and how casual the dress code is, you may be able to get away with wearing it to work. Otherwise, it’s such a great top to wear for a night out, a date, or could also be dressed down with boots. The Mint Julep Boutique has so many cute clothes, especially if you’re in a sorority because they have a lot of monogrammed items.
I couldn’t end this post without mentioning this cute stoop! I wish it was mine, but sadly it isn’t! Bostonians are starting to get out their fall decorations, and I have to say that many go ALL OUT, but I absolutely love it. This stoop is on Marlborough Street, so make sure to go with your girlfriends and snap some photos this fall. Beacon Hill, Back Bay, Beacon Street, and Marlborough Street are a few spots worth checking out for cute fall decorations.

Do you go all out decorating for fall?! I’m in need of some fall candles ASAP!

I love this outfit and I of course love that stoop! The weather has been so confusing recently! While I want fall weather, I definitely do not want winter 🙂
