Cold Shoulder T-Shirt Dress

There’s something to be said about an item of clothing that can be thrown on effortlessly, yet still manages to have you feeling comfortable and looking stylish. Meet the cold shoulder t-shirt dress. I love that it’s as comfortable as any other t-shirt dress, but the straps and the cold shoulder give it a more unique feel than your average t-shirt dress. I recently picked this up at Nordstrom before going to Charleston, South Carolina last week, and I seriously wore it on repeat.The best part: it’s only $45.

If you follow me on Instagram, then you know I was in Charleston, South Carolina last week. I work at a middle school by day, and had school vacation week, so it was such a much needed getaway to relax and go somewhere warmer than New England (although it ended up being almost just as warm in New England a couple of the days).

Geoff actually surprised me with this trip four or five days before we left, so it was a really nice surprise, since we said we were going to stay home and not go anywhere. I usually think that I hate surprises, but I loved this! Charleston was amazing, and I’m not kidding when I say the food scene is unreal. It was hard to decide where to eat because all of the restaurants have such rave reviews. If you can’t tell by now, I love pieces of clothing that are effortless and are easy to throw on. I’m a low maintenance outfit kinda gal (or so I think lol), and I always like to be comfortable. I love wearing dresses in the spring and summer, and they can be fairly versatile, as you can make them look casual or dressy, depending on your shoes and other accessories. I love a good t-shirt dress, but they can often be boring, or all look the same. I picked this one up at Nordstrom, and was immediately drawn to it because of the fact that it’s cold shoulder and has cute straps. It fits true to size. I’m wearing the medium which is a size 4-6. Check it out, because it also comes in four other colors!!
