SHADES OF GRAY + OVER THE KNEE BOOTS

I hope you guys had a great weekend! I had a slow, relaxing weekend over here. After Christmas & New Year’s, let me tell you, it was so needed. On Saturday, Boston received it’s most amount of snow yet. We got about eight inches. I always find myself looking forward to the first big snow of the year. There’s something about it that feels so cozy, plus you don’t feel as guilty about staying in all weekend and being lazy ;-).

The morning before the snow came, I made a quick trip to Whole Foods to stock up on food for the weekend, and holy, I think every single person that lives near it decided to do the same thing. It was absolute madness, and people were practically fighting each other for a parking spot (turning their blinkers on and everything lol). Even saw an accident within like the first 30 seconds. Anyways, grocery stores always used to be my angry place. I used to find myself getting so frustrated when people wouldn’t say excuse me, or would just be plain rude. Proud to say that I’m working on relaxing in 2017, taking deep breaths, and being able to go with the flow more. I didn’t even roll my eyes or say things under my breath while I was there haha. Any of you guys ever get grocery cart road rage???! LOL.

I got these Catharine Malandrino boots on sale from Nordstrom Rack last year, and they sold out in almost every size. I was so excited to see this weekend that they’ve been restocked with more sizes and styles. I kept dreaming and dreaming of ways to justify to myself that I could buy designer over the knee boots that cost $700, but I couldn’t end up justifying it (obviously lol). Luckily, since these ones are $60 (such a good deal, I bought these for $100), you could buy 10 pairs if you wanted and then some hahaha (but don’t do that).

I like that these ones hit well above the knee and stay tight, and are pretty comfortable for heeled boots. I wore mine so much last year, and they’ve held up amazingly well for faux suede. I also linked some of the other colors and styles they have them in because I’m obsessed (also want them in this color and style)! Make sure you snatch these up before they sell out again, because it won’t be long!

Theres two modes that come from a snowfall: I want to ski!! or I want to just stay in, wrapped in a blanket and do nothing. You look awesome here and I’m dying over the pop of color with the earrings! Keep it up, chick!
